The investment team of Leningrad region headed by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Leningrad Region – Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity Dmitry Yalov held a meeting with the members of Leningrad Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce Yuri Vasiliev noted that economic role of Leningrad region is becoming more and more evident in Russia which is proved by, for example, record indices of economic development and leading positions in all-Russian ratings of investment climate.
“We should implement many changes in order to keep our leading positions. We need to move to digital transformation of cooperation between business and authorities in order to simplify processes and reduce time required for various operations,” said Dmitry Yalov.
He said that one of the main tasks for the nearest several years is transfer to digital services and solutions, digitalization of urban planning activities which will result in significant improvement of interaction of business and authorities.
Expansion of measures of support on commercial real estate companies is being discussed in Leningrad region. According to the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity Anton Finogenov, business centres, shopping malls, entertainment centres, hotel and congress centres will be able to significantly increase the number of jobs in the agglomeration area.
The members of the investment team told about innovations of this year which worth attention of business for its efficient work.
