A meeting of the economic team of the Government of Leningrad region with German-Russian Economic Council took place online.
About 20 representatives of German companies participated in the event.
First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region Anton Finogenov told about the current situation in the region, division of the municipal districts to zones depending on the number of people infected by coronavirus, interaction with business and measures of government support for the most affected industries.
Acting Director of Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region Anastasia Mikhalchenko presented an international business forum Baltic G2B Forum and invited representatives of German business to participate in the event on 17-18 September.
Meetings with business is a good opportunity for companies to ask their questions directly to the representatives of the regional Government. Explanations about measures of support, assistance in organization of covid-19 tests for employees, work of foreign experts on equipment adjustment – this is only a small part of questions.
