Ten enterprises-exporters of the Leningrad region will be able to improve their skills in foreign economic activity with the help of a special training program.
The acceptance of applications for the "Export Forsage" acceleration program, developed by specialists from the Export School of the REC, has begun. Such training for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the region is being held for the third time. The program lasts several months and includes thematic training modules and a range of services for information and consulting support for participants. Based on the results of the accelerator, the participating company will prepare up to three plans for entering foreign markets. Each plan contains step-by-step recommendations and detailed instructions for action. Its implementation, from the first to the final stage, is supervised by assigned mentors and trackers. The result of the training should be new export contracts for acceleration participants. It should be reminded that three companies of the Leningrad region that were trained last year signed export contracts for the supply of their products to foreign countries.
This year, the course of study will be adapted to the current economic situation in the face of sanctions restrictions. As the Center for Export Support of the Leningrad Region emphasizes, today it is especially important to help businesses find new buyers and sales markets in friendly countries, as well as navigate the updated "export" legislation. The companies of the Leningrad region from among small and medium-sized businesses are actively working in the Middle East and Central Asian markets. This year, business missions are planned to Turkey, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Israel, as well as online meetings with trade representatives of the Russian Federation in a number of countries.
Business owners, top managers, commercial directors, directors for export and foreign trade activities of small and medium-sized businesses can take part in the "Export Fast and the Furious". Based on the selection results, 10 export-oriented companies of the region operating in industry and trade will participate in the program. Participation in the program is free.
On April 28, an information event dedicated to the start of acceleration will take place. Employees of the Russian Export Center, the Export Support Center of the Leningrad Region, trainers of the acceleration program and current exporters of the region will speak to the participants. The Export Forsage acceleration program is aimed at realizing the export potential of small and medium-sized businesses and is aimed at developing a systematic approach for enterprises to structuring an export project - from choosing a market to calculating the optimal logistics route, minimizing risks, and reducing costs. The program was developed and implemented by the Export School of the REC together with the Export Support Center of the Leningrad Region as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
