A business mission to Turkey brought new contracts to the exporters of Leningrad region.
The representatives of an abrasive tool supplier Posvyaschenie, of a metalworking company Roltek, a manufacturer of piling machines and drilling rigs Baumatik and a supplier of organic fertilizers Resource took part in a business trip organized by the Export Support Centre of Leningrad Region.
The business mission started with the meetings in the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Turkey and in the representative office of the Russian Export Center. The enterprises of Leningrad region received information about specific features of doing business with Turkish companies, promising export niches and government support for Russian exporters.
Over three days the regional companies held more than 30 business meetings and negotiations with potential partners. Turkish companies expressed special interest in the products made by Resource – a manufacturer of organic fertilizer sapropel. The regional enterprise will deliver a pilot batch of fertilizers and products samples to Turkey for independent laboratory tests.
Baumatik received technical specifications for the manufacture of industrial plant for specific tasks of the customer. The representatives of Roltek visited several Turkish companies where they had an opportunity to evaluate the organization of the production process and received an order for the delivery of an installation kit for sliding gate equipment. And Posvyaschenie will send an offer for the delivery of materials for bandsaws to potential partners. By the end of the year, the Export Support Centre of Leningrad Region is planning to organize three business missions to foreign companies.
