Leningrad region has confirmed its status of a leading region and entered top-7 most attractive Russian regions in terms of investments.
The data was published in the seventh annual rating of investment attractiveness of Russian regions prepared by National Rating Agency (NRA).
NRA rating divides all regions into three categories. Leningrad region confirmed its high investment attractiveness and, as in the previous year, was included in the first category –“High level of investment attractiveness”. Totally in 2019 this group included 24 regions with 62% of investments in fixed assets. Leningrad region occupies the 7th place.
The region carries out consistent and systemic work aimed at establishment of work with investors and their support. Leningrad region has diversified economy attractive for companies from various industries. Experts note readiness for an open dialogue with investors and introduction of efficient mechanisms of interaction with Russian and foreign partners.
