Industry of the region demonstrates growth according to the results of 7 months.
According to Petrostat (Federal Statistics Service in Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region), the industrial production index in Leningrad region amounted to 107.1% in January-July. And the index of manufacturing industries that make the basis of the regional industry also shows positive results – 108.4%.
According to the results of seven months, the highest growth was typical of the printing activity (145.7%), the production of textile goods (142.3%) and beverages (141.1%), of the production and processing of wood products (139.6%), medicines and materials used for medical purposes (129.4%).
The industrial production index in the provision of electricity, gas and steam has also grown – this indicator amounted to 103.5%.
