The economic team of the Government of Leningrad region organized an interregional video conferencing dedicated to the national economic recovery plan.
The participants of the event included heads of the regional economic teams: of Leningrad region, Saint Petersburg, Moscow region, Novgorod region, Kaliningrad region, Rostov region, Lipetsk region, Moscow. And Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Roscongress Foundation and National Association of Investment and Development Agencies.
The agenda included discussions of additional suggestions concerning economic support measures, of interregional cooperation and the new role of development institutions. Important suggestions and ideas were announced during the event:
Provision of soft loans mechanisms for business both at the federal and regional levels.
Transparent support without creation of priority lists of enterprises.
Launch of large infrastructural projects with state participation which can become a locomotive for economy.
Creation of modern competitive services and platforms for receiving public services and, on the whole, digitalization of public administration should become one on priorities.
Support for interregional cooperation. There are some efficient examples in tourism.
The economic team of the Government of Leningrad region will prepare joint initiative offer of the regions concerning measures of support to be included in the national plan and will send it for consideration at the federal level.
