First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region Anton Finogenov participated in a plenary session of Christmas Summit – 2019.
The participants of the real estate market and the representatives of authorities discussed results of the real estate market: transition to the project financing system, development of developer market in the region. The participants also discussed development prospects and new legislative initiatives.
Anton Finogenov told about business climate of Leningrad region and noted that implementation of large investment projects creates new growth points at the regional real estate market. In particular, development of port infrastructure creates conditions for development of Kingisepp and Primorsk.
The Government of the region is ready to test new forms – construction of rental housing and public-private partnership.
Besides, Anton Finogenov emphasized that the Committee is glad to have dialogue with developers concerning commercial real estate projects. Large multifunctional and shopping malls, projects of medical and educational clusters, recreational real estate first of all in the areas of large-scale residential development at the borders with Saint Petersburg can count on support and open dialogue.
