Acceleration and regulation of innovations were discussed during the round table “Rightful place of innovations for the benefit of consumers” organized by Kommersant Publishing House. Deputy Director of the Front Office for Investor Relations of Leningrad Region Anastasia Mikhalchenko participated in the event.
The main points of the round table:
- Lack of the appropriate regulation can slow down development of new technologies.
- To draw legislation for innovative products business and authorities should be in a constant dialogue, take into consideration opinions and interests of each other and, first of all, of consumers.
- The participants of the market are becoming initiators of the projects in the sphere of government regulation, a good example is an automated online service “TrudKompleks” on workplace health and safety. And large companies support the idea of self-regulation and set internal strict requirements to a product.
- Business associations assume the role of a conductor of business opinion, defend interests while preparing regulatory documents.
