To improve procedures of interaction between the ports of the city and the region with authorized bodies for development of port and logistics sphere.

To continue work on creation of inter-regional industrial clusters. The regions should have coordinated policy concerning support of cluster initiatives, joint appeals to the federal authorities concerning removal of administrative barriers which restrict launch of new materials to the market.

To participate jointly in international events aimed at attraction of investments and export support, including organization of joint exhibition stands.

To synchronize basic parameters of investors support, namely legislation concerning tax benefits for regional investment projects.

“For the first time over the last years we have managed to develop a position concerning work with investors. Previously the region and the city were competitors for investments, but now we have large joint investment projects which should be solved together in conditions of agglomeration and current economic situation. We also understand efficiency of the unified development of the city and the region,” noted the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.
