“Angola is interested in supplying green coffee to our country. In turn, in the Leningrad region there are processing enterprises that are interested in expanding the pool of suppliers. So far, the possible volumes are not very large, but there are prospects for expanding the partnership,” commented Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Leningrad Region Government for Economics.
As part of the visit of the delegation led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the Russian Federation, Augusto da Silva Cunha, there was a presentation and tasting of Angolan coffee, acquaintance with the production capabilities of the Orimi plant, a Russian importer of tea and coffee raw materials, whose import geography is 43 countries, and whose production volume ― 85 thousand tons of tea and coffee products per year.
