The delegation of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce visited Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region.
German business is traditionally active in Leningrad region in terms of investments. Interest remains high, so the first offline meeting in the Agency after a long break brought together about 30 participants.
Director of the Agency Anastasia Mikhalchenko gave presentation of investment climate of the region, told about the largest investment projects and existing benefits for investment projects. During the meeting the representatives of German companies became acquainted and told about their aims and expectations. Business interests of the participants included such spheres as logistics and production of polymers, driving components, supply of industrial equipment, metal industry, environmental projects, wastewater treatment and waste sorting complexes.
CEO of Territorial Development Agency M10 Mikhail Kosarev presented M10 Industrial Park and invited all the participants to the investment site as a continuation of the meeting. The delegation visited production and warehouse complex of Terra-Terminal where small and medium-sized business can rent sites from 730 square meters. Representatives of Edelweis factory told about their experience of work in the industrial park.
Another place for the visitors was a large logistics complex of Lenta, which will start operating in the near future. The distribution centre has a multi-temperature storage system. The complex will provide 1,500 new jobs. This complex project has been implemented within the scheduled time. And the visit of the delegation coincided with arrival of the first truck with goods to the complex.
