Vyborg Shipyard launched the second fishing trawler White Sea, construction of which began in May 2018.
The enterprise carries out construction of four newest large fishing vessels for Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet JSC within the programme of “investment quotas” which stimulates placement of orders for fishing vessels at domestic shipyards.
The first vessel from this series was launched in May 2019. The lead ship Barents Sea is at the final stage and will be delivered to the customer in 2020.
Each vessel under this project has a latest generation trawl complex and a factory for fish processing which allows processing up to 160 tonnes of raw products per day. The trawlers are used for work in the Northern fishery basin.
