Industrial parks in Leningrad region

Industrial park is a complex of real estate properties managed by an operator (a specialized management company), consisting of a land plot (plots) with industrial, administrative buildings, warehouses and other facilities provided with engineering and transport infrastructure, administrative and legal conditions for production placement. Thus, industrial parks are ideal sites for placement of various types of production plants.

The land-use planning scheme of Leningrad region includes information about 23 industrial parks (11 already operating, 6 under construction, 6 planned parks) as regional development objects.

Information about the following industrial parks: Levoberezhniy, Nanopark Gatchina, Greenstate, Pikalevo, Kola are included in the federal list of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; industrial parks Levoberezhniy, Nanopark Gatchina, Greenstate have the status of industrial park of Leningrad region which can receive measures of government support according to the regional law “On Creation and Development of Industrial Parks”.

Advantages of placement of production in industrial parks:

  • access to transport infrastructure and availability of utilities;
  • less time required to launch a project;
  • provision of services to the residents of industrial parks (repair and maintenance of utilities; logistic, security, legal, consulting and other services, cleaning of territories).

Today 78 resident organizations have placed their production plants in already operating industrial parks.
