Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Union "Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry" (LOCCI) is one of the most actively developing chambers of commerce and industry in the Russian Federation. It offers its members not only information and consulting support, but also provides a wide range of services for business promotion and networking.

LOCCI is a non-governmental non-profit membership-based organization, established on the initiative of Russian commercial and non-commercial organizations and individual entrepreneurs. It unites its members to achieve the goals and objectives defined by the Law of the Russian Federation "On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Russian Federation".

LOCCI's goals:

• to contribute to the modernization of the regional economy by creating a favorable investment and business climate in the region;
• to increase the competitiveness of Russian enterprises;
• to promote the consolidation of Russian business to address important state policy objectives.

The Chamber places particular importance on activities to attract investments and develop international relations for entrepreneurs of the Leningrad Region. On the eve of Russia's accession to the WTO, the Chamber implemented a large-scale set of measures to adapt small and medium-sized businesses in the region to the new conditions.
