The autonomous non-commercial organization Industry Development Centre of Leningrad Region is a regional development institute established by the Government of Leningrad region to increase the competitiveness of industrial enterprises in the region and support their adaptation to the new technological wave and changing environmental conditions.

Government aims and spheres of competence

Assistance in development of cooperative ties in Leningrad region and the creation of industrial clusters in order to increase the competitiveness of enterprises.

This direction is developed by the Cluster Development Centre of Leningrad Region.

Assistance in bringing the products of industrial enterprises of the region to the new external markets and creating conditions for sustainable growth of regional export activities.

This direction is developed by the Export Support Centre of Leningrad Region.

Assistance in increasing labour productivity in Leningrad region at medium and large enterprises of basic non-resource industries.

Basic consultancy services and project support services are provided to enterprises registered in Leningrad region free of charge or on individual co-financing terms (services to enterprises in other regions are provided on a paid basis).

Comprehensive support for enterprises

Support for creating an industrial cluster

The service is aimed at providing comprehensive support to enterprises in Leningrad region that are interested in launching and implementing a new cluster initiative in the region.

Support includes the entire range of solutions and offers of the Center in the following areas: organizational, legal, marketing, methodological, and educational support.

The service is provided free of charge, subject to the conclusion of a cooperation agreement.

Support for entering new foreign markets

Support for launching or developing turnkey export marketing activities. An enterprise is accompanied at all stages of the export project implementation – from the audit of the export potential to the first delivery of products to the target market.

The complex includes the provision of the Centre’s services in all basic blocks: marketing, training, assistance in reducing foreign trade barriers, product adaptation, search for contractors, and consulting on government support measures.
