The territory of advanced social and economic development Pikalevo was created in order to contribute to development of the monotown of Pikalevo in Leningrad region by means of attraction of investments and creation of new jobs not connected with the work of city-forming enterprises.
The territory was established by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 16.03.2018 No.271 “On Creation of the Territory of Advanced Social and Economic Development Pikalevo”.
The territory of advanced development is established for 10 years up to 2028 and can be prolonged for 5 years.
The residents of the territory of advanced social and economic development can be commercial organizations except for state and municipal public enterprises, financial organizations, including credit and insurance organizations and professional participants of stock market which meet all following requirements:
Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region coordinates work of executive authorities of Leningrad region concerning conclusion of agreements with the residents of the territory of advanced development Pikalevo.
Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region deals with issues concerning placement in the territory of advanced development.
As of the beginning of 2020 the list of the residents of the territory of advanced development Pikalevo incluldes three companies: PITEK – production of heat treated and impregnated wood, RemAutoPik – a service station for freight transport and a confectionery factory F. Skrupskoy.
